From Strategic Marketer to Solo Mom to Purpose-Driven Founder

I’ve spent the last 20 years building and scaling some of the most respected skincare, biotech, and wellness brands in the industry. From launching award-winning products at Alastin Skincare and SkinMedica to leading strategic marketing initiatives across the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors, I’ve seen firsthand how science, innovation, and brand storytelling come together to transform lives and businesses.

I’ve been privileged to contribute to two successful exits and an IPO, working across every stage of the brand lifecycle. But the most profound transformation I’ve ever experienced didn’t happen in a boardroom; it happened in my own life.

As a solo mom and startup executive, I spent years prioritizing everyone else's needs: my son, my career, my team, and my family. Somewhere along the way, I forgot to put myself on the list. Like many women, I dismissed my own mental and physical health as less important than the demands of work and caregiving. I ignored the signs of burnout until my body refused to let me ignore them any longer.

What saved me was surprisingly simple: a daily skincare ritual. That quiet moment of caring for my skin became a powerful gateway to self-care, healing, and restoration. I realized that when I took just one hour a day to center myself, I became a stronger, more creative leader. A more patient and present mom. A better human. It wasn’t vanity. It was vital.

That realization sparked something bigger. I didn’t just want to market beauty, I wanted to redefine it. I wanted to build a platform that helps others, especially women, reclaim their wellness, confidence, and identity through evidence-based, biotech-driven skincare and a mindset shift around self-worth and self-care.

That’s why I founded INDIVIDUAL Beauty, a science-led wellness brand that starts with skincare but is built to support the whole person. Our mission is to make self-care a daily, non-negotiable act of health, not a luxury. We’re creating products and a movement that help you show up for yourself first, so you can show up for the world at your best.
